    @Azumi - Sorry for off-topic interjection:

    Although there is no official rule regarding this behaviour, we request that wherever possible both the question AND the answer be provided in substantive detail here within the thread. An attached workbook is an excellent aid for posing a question and offering a solution, but solely doing that with no in thread explanation makes it difficult for researchers to understand or consider the Q & A of this thread without downloading what may be a pointless doc to them, if they can do that at all. Doing that also hides the content from search engines so others may never benefit from this.

    I'm sure you understand, and we look forward to seeing you post your formulas/macros in your posts for the searching benefit of all.

    Thanks again for all your hard work here!

    Re: Vlookup Not Working Properly

    It is not clear (to me) what your formula (the double VLOOKUP) is doing

    =VLOOKUP(VLOOKUP($N$2;'Input Lap'!$A:$BV;INT((ROWS($1:41)-1)/28)+28;FALSE);'Input BGN'!$A:$BV;67;FALSE)

    The first VLOOKUP returns 7

    and the second the value in Row 8, column BO from "Input BGN"

    BUT you should be returning the second value from "Input Lap' ????

    VLOOKUP is working correctly as defined by your parameters: so check your logic.

    In what way does it not work for you? Incorrect results? Error message? What?

    Re: Vlookup Not Working Properly

    What does not work mean???

    We cannot help you as we do not know what you require the formula to do (in business terms).

    What are you trying to "lookup" based on what criteria? The first VLOOKUP simple returns a value between 1 and 20 BUT only from row 1 of "Input Lap"

    and this value (7 in your case) is used to match against column A of "Input BGN" to find value in column "BO" (column 67).
