Determining physical date after adding 6 day week + allowing for holidays

    Hi,

Please refer to the attached xls file.

Basically, I am setting up an Extension Of Time Register and need to find out the revised date for completion of an activity.

The cell I25 (Tab 1) currently works out the finish date from a physical commencement date as well as a project duration (taking into account a 6 day work week).

This is all good so far hopefully.

Now what I want to do, dependent on when the contract commences, I want it to take into account the public holidays and CPB days off that is showed in Tab 2.

(i.e, if the Contract, commences on 3/04/18 and is to be completed by 20/05/18, I want it to add to the formula in I25 these additional holidays. (i.e. Wednesday, 25 April 2018 and Monday, 7 May 2018) (as these are non work days and need to be added to the completion date)

An easier solution than the formula you have in I25 would be to use WORKDAY.INTL. This formula will give you the same result as what you have:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

If you then put your holidays in another range somewhere (let's say A48:A49), you can use something like this to take them into account as well:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

I recently started a new job so am a bit busy and may not reply quickly. Sorry - it's not personal - I will reply eventually.
If your problem is solved, please go to 'Thread Tools' above your first post and 'Mark this Thread as Solved'.
If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.
You don't need to give me rep if I helped, but a thank-you is nice.
