    Conditional formatting

    I need help with conditional formatting. What i require is small, If a date in one cell is in within the last 14 days then for that cell to go green, and if its in the last 15-31 days, the cell to go amber, and if over 32+days the cell to go colour red.

    I have used this formula =AND($G5-TODAY()>=-14,$G5-TODAY()<=0) on the conditional formatting enter formula tab and this goes green and works, however i cant get the 15-31 days (Amber) & the +32 days (Red) to work with the same formula.

    Any suggestions, many thanks,

    Hello and welcome to the forum.

    With Conditional Formatting, you have to create one formula for each color.

    What you are looking for would require 3 formulas; one for Green, one for Amber, and one for Red.

    Thank you for your welcome. Yes the formula I'm using though are not working, do you know the formula. What I used is above, I applied it for each color too, only worked with the date being in the last 14 days the cell goes green. However for 15-31 days old going amber the formula not working & for date being more than 31 days old going red.

    Re: Conditional formatting

    Try these:

    Red
    =G5-TODAY()<-31

    Amber
    =AND(G5-TODAY()>=-31,G5-TODAY()<-14)

    Green
    =AND(G5-TODAY()>=-14,G5-TODAY()<=0)

    Note that this will not highlight the cell if it is a future date.
