I am using excel to keep a record of wage, holiday pay and pay after NI insurance. I have got this working...which I'm chuffed with as I've never properly used excel, but I've noticed that the amounts that have 5 as the 3rd decimal p[lace eg... £10.975 round DOWN to £10.97 instead of correctly rounding UP to £10.98.
How do I fix this?

To be honest, I've not done a formula for rounding. Everything else has automatically rounded properly. EG £39.509 (from the calculations) gets automatically changed to £39.51 when set to show as 2 decimal places. It's only numbers that have 5 as the 3rd decimal place that don't round properly.

How are you determining that the third decimal place is 5? If it's purely by changing the number of decimal places shown in the cell, it may well be that that 5 is actually a rounded up from a lower decimal place. Excel will not round a 5 down.
