Email Validation - standard character set and modern TLDs

I am looking for a formula that will help to validate that the email in a cell is a valid email...

Valid emails would include the standard characters set - a-z, 1-9, and a few characters like the underscore and period...
there would then need to be the @ symbol
and then a domain name that is also standard characters
and then the TLD... like .com .co.uk .training .condos .ca, etc...

Has anyone created such a validation?

Is there a way to restrict the pattern a bit further. For example I don't want to allow for the # symbol and it seems to address that rather strangely or the % or potentially others.

Ive got some weird emails that I need to filter out...

Things like - test⌂@test.com
first#[email protected]
name%@test.com

these are the problematic ones

Did anyone have any other thoughts??
