Tracking Data Over Time

Hi, I am working on an excel project in which one of the cells is updated every so often. I want to make a graph of this number as it changes over time. So essentially, i want excel to take note of the number in that cell every 24 hours and add that to a list which i will then graph.



Anyone know how to do this??

Where is your data (that number every 24 hrs) coming from ? Are you entering it manually yourself or ????

yes, the number in that cell changes based on other numbers that i add manually.

The best approach at this point is for you to create a sample worksheet to be posted here. Understanding your worksheet won't do anything EXCEPT show
a simulation of what you envision and how it is laid out physically.

Include a "before" and "after" view of what you envision and include comments to describe things in more detail. Attach the sample workbook to your next post.

When you post your next comments, in the lower right you will see a button titled GO ADVANCED. Click that, scroll about half way down the page that displays and you'll
see another button titled MANAGE ATTACHMENTS. When you click that button a small window will display giving you the opportunity to select the file you want to attach.
