    Rolling Points off Error Tracker

Hello can someone help me create a formula that will accumulate error points and have them roll off in 12 months, 90 days, 30 days and 7 days increments?

I'm unable to attach the file itself but attached screenshots below. Let me know if you need any more information. Thank you in advance!

Hi PJ_Bourne. Welcome to the forum.

I'm unable to attach the file itself
Unable why? Were you attempting to use the "paperclip" icon? Sadly it hasn't worked for some time.

Screenshots are of almost zero value. A small uploaded workbook example saves having to retype data, shows us what you've tried and lends context.

    Here's how to do it:

To attach a file to your post,
    • be sure to desensitize the data
    • click “Go Advanced” (next to Post Quick Reply – bottom right),
    • scroll down until you see “Manage Attachments”, click that,
    • click “Browse”.
    • select your file(s)
    • click “Upload”
    • click “Close window”
    • click “Submit Reply”

The file name will appear at the bottom of your reply.

Haha yes, I was using the paperclip icon. Thank you for the info. Here's the attachment.

You have merged cells in the source data 'Errors' row 2. We really, really encourage not using merged cells in source data. They cause havoc for formulas.

Fortunately this time it's not too bad. Try this formula in B6 and fill down and across column C.

The Total Pts formula you have in column C still works.

I'm a little confused by the 90 look-back in column E. It seems redundant to what you already have in column D.

That said the text headers in E5:G5 need a helper row above them. The formulas need numbers. An alternative would be to keep existing headers and apply a custom format of 0 "Days". That way they are still numbers, but present the way you like. Select them and look in the formula bar. You will see numbers and not text. Headers formatted 0 "Days" is what I used for this formula. In E6 enter this formula. Fill down and across column G.

For YTD in H6 this and fill down.
