Count number of clients that have come in as a NC client and then returned as a R client

I have a complete list of clients, the services they received, the date they came in, and their client code (NC, R, or R+). When they come in for the first time they are given the client code NC, for New Client. When they have been in more than once, they are given the code R, for Repeat client. I am trying to track how many NC clients come back, thus becoming R clients.

The easiest way that I can think of is to create a pivot table. With it, you can see the list of customers with their respective client code

    Hi jronceros,

Am not an expert. But I believe this is the closest to what you're trying to do (track how many NC clients come back, thus becoming R clients).

What I did is that, I list out the distinct of the NC clients, and from there, I determine if the NC clients came back.

I also created a 'pivot table' sheet where you can see who are NC, R and both NC and R clients.
