    Simplifying Fractions

I wa wondering if there was a way to simplify fractions down to fractions the can be found on a standard ruler.

My data in call A1 Desired Results

    8 8/16 8 1/2
    4 4/16 4 1/4
    2 13/16 2 13/16
    2 2/16 2 1/8
    1 11/16 1 11/16
    1 7/16 etc....
    1 3/16
    1 1/16
    15/16
    14/16

Basically I'm turning decimals into fractions over 16 and then i want them simplified.

Thanks in advance for any insight

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

    In E2, copied down:

    =MROUND(D2,1/16)

    Format cells as: # ??/??

    See sheet.
