Need to find the right certificate to print based on fuel level

    Hello dear ExcelForum, me again.

Need to find the right certificate to print based on fuel level at some date.

If i had 0 litres in reservoire and then 26Jan i received 30 000 litres, so in next days, if there isn't any other receive(in) i will print that(30000) certificate.
I need formula to somehow monitor fuel level. If fuel level is 31 000 litres at January 27th, something is wrong. If fuel level is 29 or less, then give customer that (30000) certificate. It's too complicated. Reservoires are 100 000 litres capacity, so there might be 130 000 receive in for some date(28 Jan), because, at 28 Jan i could also sell 30 000litres. It's so complicated.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    What is a certificate?

You gave a bunch of specific examples, which are very confusing. (What does "something is wrong" mean? Why is something wrong just because the fuel level is 31,000 litres on January 27? What does "fuel level is 29" mean--29,000 litres? Why would you give a customer a certificate for 30,000 if they have 29,000 or less?) But you have not given us a set of rules to determine when a certificate should be printed.

The fact that you said twice that it's complicated suggests that you may not understand the business problem well enough yourself yet to explain what you need. The first thing is to explain what you are trying to do, and how you would do it if you didn't have Excel. Then we can explain how to do it in Excel.

    Rule 08: Cross-posting Without Links

Your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Do not cross-post your question on multiple forums without including links here to the other threads on other forums.

Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

Expect cross-posted questions without a link to be closed and a message will be posted by the moderator explaining why. We are here to help so help us to help you!

Read this to understand why we ask you to do this, and then please edit your first post to include links to any and all cross-posts in any other forums (not just this site).

No further help to be offered, please, until the OP has complied with this request.

"something is wrong" Because, receive in was 30,000litres, I cannot have 31,000 at end of day
Let's say I have 62,000litres in(30,500+31,500), and i gradually selling 1,000, 5,000, 6,000....I need give customer that last(31,500) certificate, but when current fuel level is below 30,500, and there aren't new receive in, then please dear EXCEL give me that 30,500 certificate.(certificate of quality).

Re: Need to find the right certificate to print based on fuel level

On another sheet i will have 10 rows for maximum possible selling at one day.
In that 10 rows i need formula to search for pasted "Date , Customer, quantity" in Sheet1 inside "Fuel-Out" table, and search for the right certificate in "Fuel-In" table based on conditions(current fuel level, is there receive in of fuel,...)
