    Conditional Formatting - 52 week schedule, highlighting weeks at conditional intervals.

    I have a 52 week calendar with weeks 1-52 in columns, and tasks listed in rows.

    I cannot for the life of me figure out how to highlight cells based of the earliest entry on a task row. For example; Task A is scheduled to be completed once every 4 weeks. If the first occurrence of the task is week 2, then I would like to highlight week 6, 10, 14, etc...as being due for completion again.

    In what cell is the 4 for Task A indicating the interval?

    Your'e better off posting a file

    Use the Go Advanced option at the bottom of the page then scroll down to Manage Attachments as the "paperclip" method does not work on this forum.

    Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

    Attached Example file. For reference I manually filled in the first few tasks with how I would like it to do automatically.

    Thank you for your time.

    Try this in Conditional Formatting:

    =MOD(COLUMN(),$C7)=0

    The attached file shows how kvsrinivasamurthy's suggestion and a modification of Estevaoba's formula can be used to conditionally format the chart.
    I only applied the rule to rows 11:15 so that you could see that it matches the cell pattern in rows 7:10
    If you wanted to apply the formula to the range, E7:BD15 it would read: =OR(COLUMN()=$D7,MOD(COLUMN(A:A),$C7)=$D7,$C7=1)
    Note: column D may be hidden for aesthetic purposes.
