Need to look at 2 coloums to get sum

    Hi,
I have a form I use daily (attached) In coloum A is where I select a drivers name, coloum D is where I select the supervisors name or !!! NO CALL !!!

You will see at the bottom (F39 & G39 downwards), there is a section with a list of all the drivers names, the forumula I need would put the amount of !!! NO CALLS !!! from each particular driver in the box next the their name.

This is driving me mad, can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance

it works for me in the file you provided

your version of excel is 2007 or later as countifs did not exist before then, (your user details say 2010) or you need to save the file as xlsx not xls, as the function will not be recognized

    I think sumproduct existed then

    =SUMPRODUCT(($A$4:$A$37=$F40)*($D$4:$D$37="!!! No call !!!"))

    otherwise its an array formula
