    Academic term dates query

    Hi,

I have a list of pupils with a column of dates. I need to work out whether the date is no earlier than the start of the previous term. Currently it would be 4th September 2017 then from 16th April it would be no earlier than 3rd January.

    Any suggestions for a formula?

    Thanks,

Lots of ways, but if you have a termly aspect to this, I'd set up a lookup table for the three date points and reference that. Are you able to attach a sample workbook?

The easiest thing to do would be to change the reference date manually as required

Does that mean you solved the issue? Sorry, I got distracted by other things and I see nobody else responded.
