Need help with showing values in Excel

    Dear reader,

I need to use a formula in Excel which shows me the value of a certain row, only if the value in the column next to that row matches a different cell.
    I currently use:

    =IF(MATCH(H2;Sheet1!E1:Sheet1!E10000;0);Sheet1!H2;0)

The problem with this formula, is that it shows me all the text in Sheet!1H2, because it matches once within the range of Sheet1!E1:Sheet1!E10000.
I would like this value to appear only if it matches within this range, not if it matches once.

Could anyone help me out with this formula?

if you need additional information i would be happy to provide it.

    Kind regards,

    H

    welcome to the forum Hoogoo,

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

    Thanks for the quick reply,

    Excel help.png

I have remade the situation in paint.

As i said, the value in Sheet!3 E2 needs to copy the value at Sheet1! H2, only if the value at Sheet1! E2 equals the value at Sheet3! $H$2, and so on.

    EDIT:
Just noticed the values in the picture don't match. They should be the same at Sheet1! E2 and Sheet3! H2

Try pasting the following formula into cell E4 on Sheet3 and copying down:

I am guessing that you have Excel version 2010 or later, if not a different solution will be needed due to the use of the AGGREGATE function.
