    Struggling with a Time Formula

I am currently doing a spreadsheet which has Expected arrival time in column A and Actual Arrival time in column B

So A1 will have 10:00 and in B1 has 07:50....easy peasy however the formula I used for that doesn't work in the next row: -

    A2 has 23:00 & B2 has 01:00

Now whatever formula I use I cannot get the correct answer in both rows.

I have tried multiple formulas to make it all work and it doesn't

I am trying to have a 1 size fits all rows regardless if the times are the same day or rolls past midnight.

I have looked at the formats to see if that was the issue.

What formula will fit all scenarios?

Really doing my head in and spoiling my Excel reputation at work

    Cheers peeps in anticipation

    Re: Going Mental

Welcome to the forum! Please take a moment to re-read forum rule #1 and then amend your thread title to something that better explains your problem. Changing your thread title is not optional, which means you must change it. Thanks!

    • Use concise, accurate thread titles.
    • Your post title should describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.
    • Use terms appropriate to a Google search - poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice tell us nothing.
    • Responding to a request to change your thread title by doing so is mandatory.

To change a title go to your first post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title.

No help to be offered, please, until the OP complies with this request.
