Look at range of cells and calculate price

    Hello everyone!

I received great assistance last year from this site, and I'm hoping that you will be able to assist me once again .

I have been using this formula and it works perfectly. This formula looked at the price list inc competitor worksheet. It looked for specific length, and markup. On the inventory worksheet, the formula found the type of hair and calculated the price based on length and total weight.

Now that I'm launching new products, I need to revise the formula. I have new hair origins and a new type of product.

I would like the new formula to look at the origin worksheet. Calculate the price based on the origin, length, weight and markup and wig type.

Example: On the inventory spreadsheet, if I enter the following, the cost should be 871.15.

Weft 1 Pattern: Cambodian D Curly
    Weft 1 Length: 18
    Weft 1 Weight: 3
Weft 2 Pattern: Cambodian D Curly
    Weft 2 Length: 20
    Weft 2 Weight: 7
    Wig Type: Upart w vent
    $871.15

Personally I think you'd be better advised to create a single two dimensional lookup table instead of all the individual ones.
The single table should contain a unique 'code' that concatenates all the relevant variables so that it can be used as the lookup value.

I note that the original is from a different web site. Have you also posted this question there too? If so please note our forum rule about cross posting.

I did post initially back in 2016 and paid for a solution. I can't seem to access it, and I'm assuming it's because it's expired so no longer available.

I'm not very familiar with excel, so not sure of how to go about what you're suggesting. If I were to post this is the section to get paid help, is that section pretty active?

    Should that not be $878.15?

    i.e.
    3 x $63.8 = $191.40
    7 x $65.25 = $456.75
    $230.00

    Total $878.15

If it is $871.15 please explain the calculation
