Post How do I fix formula to display information based on other cells?

    Hello -

I have the following formula in Cell D15:

    =IF(AND(AU15>=2, AU15<3),"Review of Expectations",IF(AND(AU15>=3, F15=""),"PIP Required",""))

Which is looking at data in other cells to determine what happens in Cells D15 based on responses in Cells E, F and G.

Currently if someone has 2 points then 'review of expectations" appears in cell D15. In addition if someone has 3 points then PIP Required appears in Cell D15.

Current, if someone selects "YES" in cell F15 indicating that the PIP was completed then the words "PIP Required" disappears in cell D15.

I am trying to figure out how to get this formula to react in the same manner for cells E and G.

Can you help? Excel Novice here.

    Thanks,

    Re: Excel Formula Help

    Attach a sample workbook.

Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need.

Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

And while you're doing that, can I also draw your attention to rule 1...

    1. Use concise, accurate thread titles. Your post title should describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. To change the title of the thread, click EDIT on the original post, then click the Go Advanced button, then change the title.

    Re: Excel Formula Help

Welcome to the forum! Please take a moment to re-read forum rule #1 and then amend your thread title to something that better explains your problem. Changing your thread title is not optional, which means you must change it. Thanks!

    • Use concise, accurate thread titles.
    • Your post title should describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.
    • Use terms appropriate to a Google search - poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice tell us nothing.
    • Responding to a request to change your thread title by doing so is mandatory.

To change a title go to your first post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title.

No help to be offered, please, until the OP complies with this request.
