Hello everybody,
I want to proof the hypothesis that a certain value is larger than zero (>0). And i am using a t-test and p-value ( =TDIST(ABS(t),df,1) )to test this hypothesis for multiple mean values. Some of the mean values are negative. How does it work with negative values?
I have to use the ABS value, because it doesn't work with a negative value & the 1 means a one-tailed test.
Can I just calculate the p-value of a negative t-statistics like this: 1 - TDIST(ABS(t),df,1)?
