How can I roll up multi line totals into one?

I have a large excel document with multiple lines. I need to be able to roll the multi-line invoices into one. Currently I am identifying them and adding a line and summing, then deleting the multiple lines. Is there a formula? I have to review over 77000 line items. help

are the multiple lines that you want rolled up identified with a unique identifier (like an invoice number?)

Depends on file/data structure. But I'd think Pivot Table is your best option if data is organized in flat table structure.

I'd recommend uploading sample file with enough data to demonstrate your issue (25~50 line of data is usually enough).

The button isn't currently working. You'd need to click on "Go Advanced" found at bottom right of quick reply menu.
Then find "manage attachments" hyperlink and click on it. It will open new tab/window for managing attachments.

    =sumif([invoice number column],[single invoice number],[whatever column you're summing])

i'd generally suggest copying the entire invoice number row, pasting into another sheet, remove duplicates (data tab > data tools section > remove duplicates) and then paste that formula next to your unique invoice # list where [single invoice number] is a reference to the unique invoice #'s. make sense?

Perhaps add headings to your columns so we know what is what? And sample output?

So sum should be based on Column C?

Here's Pivot Table version and SUMIF.
