conditional formatting gray out cells greater than a value

I'm looking to gray out specific cells based on an adjacent cell value.

see attached example, i'll explain below too.

Column B3 = 6

I have 2 groups of 24 columns G:AD & AF:BC
each column has a # (1-24) in row 2

so i'm looking to gray out the cells that are greater than the # in column B.

B3 = 6

would gray out cells M3:AD3 (#'s 7-24) & cells AL3:BC3 (#'s 7-24)

see image below too. i manually grayed out the cell to what they should look like based on the value in column B

hi there. i saw your previous question too and wanted to ask you to illustrate your desired answers. it got answered pretty quickly and i did not reply. you did it though in this eg by manually highlighting.

select the range you want to apply to (say from G3:AD101)
go to Home tab -> Conditional Formatting -> New Rule -> Use a formula to determine which cells to format -> Format values where this formula is true:
=AND(G$2>$B3,$B3<>"")
format a fill

do the same for the 2nd group
