    IFERROR not working

    Hello,

I am trying to reuse a Microsoft Template ('Schedule Template.xlsx') to put together a small scheduler that would automatically generate scheduled shifts on a weekly calendar ('Employee Schedule Template.xlsx').

I have copied over the formula from the template's first worksheet to my new workbook's first sheet ('Shift Calendar') but it is not copying over the information from my second worksheet ('Shift List').

If you look at the original template, it copies over the information automatically. I would like my formula to do the same. I have not changed the conditional formatting, but I have changed the structured references to match my new workbook names.

Can someone tell me why my formula is not working?

    Thanks in advance,

    CBrechin

    Re: IFERROR not working

Hello CBrechin and Welcome to Excel Forum.
This modification to the formula yields the results that I would expect:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Wow, that's great! Thank you so much. So if I am to understand my structural references need to be ranges.

What is the purpose of [#Headers] and [UNIQUE]?

This is great by the way!

    Re: IFERROR not working

    Those are table references.

[#Headers] represents a specific header cell of a table.

[UNIQUE] represents the entire table column named UNIQUE (which is in column F of the 'Shift List' worksheet).

    Re: IFERROR not working

You're Welcome and thank you for the feedback.
As to 'ranges', [[Unique]:[Unique]] is a way of locking that structural reference so that when the formula is dragged horizontally the reference remains the same.
