Dynamic Sorting of Data Pairs

I have lists of data that get data added to them periodically.

I am looking for a formula that will dynamically sort the data pairs by the X value as new data points get added.

I have two rows of data linked from a different sheet.

Something like this:

(blank),7,5,(blank),6,5,7,(blank)
(blank),123,135,(blank),154,143,164,(blank)

I want to create a formula that will reorder the data in the two rows beneath so I can make a scatterplot of the distribution that continuously updates itself as I add data points.

Your explanation is unclear = no replies.

Will you please attach a SMALL sample Excel workbook (10-20 rows of data is usually enough)? Please don't attach a picture of one (no-one will want to re-type all your stuff before starting).

1. Make sure that your sample data are truly REPRESENTATIVE of your real data. The use of unrepresentative data is very frustrating and can lead to long delays in reaching a solution.

2. Make sure that your desired solution is also shown (mock up the results manually).

3. Make sure that all confidential information is removed first!!

4. Try to avoid using merged cells. They cause lots of problems!
