Add based on data of another column in filtered list

    Hello everyone,

I am trying to add a filtered list but only if the cells of another column have a value >0.

So in my screenshot (I have also attached a spreadsheet) the list has been filtered I need cell F35 to add but only from the filtered list and only if the filtered data in column J is >0. F35 therefore should be adding up the green cells in column F because they are the ones that have a figure in column J.

Basically only add up the cells in column F if there are figures in the same row in column J.

Re: Add based on data of another column in filtered list

    Thanks Roel,

The SUBTOTAL formula is adding everything up in the column. I need to just add up the cells in column F if the data in column J along the same row is >0. So In the example I only want to add up the cells that I have coloured in green as they are the ones that have data in column J.

Thank you for your help. : )

Why not filter on J as well (ignore blanks)?

Because I never thought of that lol! I am not the best in Excel though but that does exactly what I am trying to do without complicated formulas.

Thank you very much for your help
