I want to make it some thing like the following so that I just have to change one cell. The range of cells I am searching look like "FV-D2 28/09/2019" so when I use the following it doesn't work.

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks in advance,
    Calum

Looks to me like it should work, DEPENDING on if what you are searching for is EXACTLY what typed.

If Samba's suggestion doesnt work for upload a small (clean) sample workbook (not a pic) of what you are working with, and what your expected outcome would look like.
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
