Hello, this is going to seem like a dumb question but I'm rather stumped. In the past when I want to work in multiple instances of the same workbook I could just go to View and hit the new window button. This opened a new window of my current workbook under the original file name with a number at the end. From there I could work on multiple tabs of the same workbook concurrently with an instance open on each monitor. For some reason when I hit View-new window now it opens up a second instance of the workbook in the same window of the original. This stops me from moving one to a second window. How do I make excel revert back to the old method? Being able to have the workbook opened on both screens is incredibly helpful.
Edit: I've also now noticed that anytime I try and open a new workbook it opens it in the same window of excel as opposed to opening in another window.
