    Offset formula starting point (up/down)

    Hi everyone,

So, I've been looking around for an answer, but without any luck.
I'm pretty sure that the solution to my problem somehow contains the OFFSET formula, but I can't figure out how - so I need your help!

    So, to put it simple:
1: I have a payment structure where I know that billing will be on day X.
2: Customers have a credit period of Y days, which means the payment will actually be done Y-number of rows further down from X (if that makes sense?
3: However, I want the formula that spits out the payment (Y) to be dynamic, so when I change Y to another value, it automatically "moves" the payment formula up/down the same number of rows, relative to X.

So for instance, in the attached screenshot.
Billing takes place on Date 1 but payment happens Date (X+Y). So I want the payment formula to spit out the result Y number of rows further down (in this case 5 days/rows).

Does this make sense at all?

Attach a sample workbook (not image).so that we do not have to manually key in your data to do a testing.

Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate.

Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
