    SUMIFS Query

I am using the below formula:

    =SUM(SUMIFS(Data!$F:$F,Data!$A:$A,{"1822"},Data!$D:$D,{"ENIDDS.007"}))

I want the 1822 criteria, which is the week number, to increase by one when I drag it to the next column along. Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks,
    Sam

    Re: SUMIFS Query

    Hi Sam,

I believe there is a way, but to get the best help/results, please attach a small sample workbook.

Attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
    HTH
    Regards, Jeff

    Re: SUMIFS Query

maybe substitute column(BRB1) for the 1822 and it will index by one when dragged toward the right?
something like (untested of course) =SUM(SUMIFS(Data!$F:$F,Data!$A:$A,column(BRB1),Data!$D:$D,{"ENIDDS.007"}))

    Re: SUMIFS Query

Hello, thanks for the replies so far. I have attached the basic principle of what I would like to achieve on this spreadsheet. I will be inserting a new column each week, dragging along the row and hope that the week number will increase by 1 each time.

    Thanks for your help,
    Sam

    Re: SUMIFS Query

What I gave you is the equivalent of 1822, if you want it to index by one when you drag it right that column(brb1) will do that for you.

Edit: working from an iPad so I can’t view your attachment and am going by your first post.

    Re: SUMIFS Query

You are adding a column B rather than the end?

Why not 1821 in B1, 1822 in C1, drag both together for as many columns as you want?

    Re: SUMIFS Query

Thanks to everyone for all your help.

I am using formula =SUMIFS(Data!$C:$C,Data!$A:$A,C$1,Data!$B:$B,$A2) which seems to do the job.

Thank you again for all the replies and help,
    Sam
