    sumif in power pivot

    Hey guys
I'm just going back and foward with this formula that i have to do in power pivot:
I have both tables, purchases and sales with the same field names
I have to sum and average (2 formulas) all values from the field Avg Cost, that have the field Index from sales equal to the field Index from purchases.
    Any ideas, please?
    Best regards
    Thank you so much
    Pedro

    Re: sumif in power pivot

I'm trying to do it with CALCULATE but it's not working. I did this:

    CALCULATE('Purchases Grouped Products CC'[Avg Cost],'Purchases Grouped Products CC'[Index]='Sales Grouped Products CC'[Index])

This measure is created on sales table and what it's suppose to do is to get me the value from [Avg Cost] from purchases, but with index on both tables matching. Not working of course. Can you help?

    Re: sumif in power pivot

    Hello Sandy
Thank for your reply, but...can you answer me about that formula? I mean, if i wanted the total, or the value of a field from costs, meeting the criteria of [index] of sales equal to [index] of purchases?
I know that i've ask you 2 formulas, but i can't find the answer in any google or youtube videos.
    Thank you very much
    Pedro

    Ok. Let's try this way:

    VLOOKUP(Item[Sales], Item[Costs],Avg UP[Costs])

Do you know how to do this in DAx?
