Return value from table using multiple criteria

I'm compiling a report and am having trouble inputting a formula into the highlighted cells on the attached.

I'd like it to look up the period number from the Data tab, then look in the corresponding rows on the LY tab, then look up the storage type as listed on the Utilisation tab, then look in the corresponding column on the LY tab, and return the values that are listed in each table. I hope this makes sense.

I was initially thinking something like an IF for the period number, combine with a second IF for the storage type, combined with a VLOOKUP for each of the values, but I don't know how to write such a formula.

You haven't shown us your expected outcome so I'm completely guessing here, but try this in C2 and copy down:

Sorry, my mistake. This worked on the attached but for some reason it didn't work on my actual spreadsheet. However, the below has resolved this query.
