I want this calender to be split 2 days 2 nights and move forward when you change the year

Hi, hopefully the workbook is attached. if you change the date from 2012 to 2018 the shift pattern moves to correspond to the new date. I'd like this this form instead of 4 days then 4 nights for each colour I would like it to be 2 days 2 nights and the shift pattern to move forward when the date is changed as per the original workbook. Good luck I haven't got a scooby do as I work with spanners and hammers, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
