    Autosum every three months based on month selected - Show three month trend

    Hi, hoping someone can help me.

    I would like to be able to autosum every three months based on the month selected. For example if September it should automatically sum July, August and September and if the month changes to October it would sum August, September and October.

    I want to be able to show a three-month trend depending on month selected. Are there any formulas that can help me do this?

    I have attached example file with the way the data is setup.

    Thanks in advance.

    Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

    Just for clarification, what you should the result be if July or August are selected?

    @BadlySpelledBoy: I wondered that at first. I guess it would have to be just those months since there's no data for anything prior

    This works

    =SUMPRODUCT((COLUMN(B6:M6)-1>=MATCH(A5,B6:M6,0)-2)*(COLUMN(B6:M6)-1<=MATCH(A5,B6:M6,0))*(B7:M7))
