Write back to table source from a resorted table on another worksheet

I have a table on a worksheet that is update daily.

I have that same table resorted on another worksheet in that same workbook with a data connection.

I would like to add notes to a note column on the resorted worksheet and have it write back to the source worksheet. If that's not possible I would at least like the notes to stay when the worksheet is refreshed.

    How is this possible?

    THANKS!

You can't because your query table take data from source table after refresh.
why not add notes to source table?

you are tryin' to do something like iterative calculation with timestamp - with worksheet it works but PowerQuery is not a worksheet feature

I wish I could just have salespeople write notes back on the source sheet, but unless it's sorted and super easy to find it probably won't happen.

Cool Re: Write back to table source from a resorted table on another worksheet

You can play with additional table on resorted tab then query table on source tab
query tables you can connect (merge) by eg. index (unique ID)

    something like this
(but this is a game )
