I've attached part of a workbook which uses Vlookup. Please note columns K and L. L is supposed to grab the matching date from H and I.
Is the array size wrong? Or date format?
Thanks!

maybe try L6: =VLOOKUP(K6,$A$5:$I$250,9,0)

Welcome to the forum! Please take a moment to re-read forum rule #1 and then amend your thread title to something that better explains your problem. Changing your thread title is not optional, which means you must change it. Thanks!
- Use concise, accurate thread titles.
- Your post title should describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.
- Use terms appropriate to a Google search - poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice tell us nothing.
- Responding to a request to change your thread title by doing so is mandatory.
To change a title go to your first post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title.
No help to be offered, please, until the OP complies with this request.

Title changed.
Thank you - much better! Please remember this rule in future. Thanks!
I solved it:HTML Code:
You have missed something:
=VLOOKUP(A6,$H$6:$I$250,2,0)
This makes an exact match and without it you may get some odd results.
Thanks. I will try. But given my loss of short-term memory, you may need to prompt me again if I screw up!
See post #7.
If you have a memory problem, then maybe write yourself a reminder? You could have a OneNote (for example) page for stuff to do with this forum. Just an idea!
If that takes care of your original question, please select Thread Tools from the menu link above and mark this thread as SOLVED. Thanks.
Yes thread is marked as solved. Ha, the problem with memory problems is that one makes lots of lists, then forgets that these lists exists or where they are! I do try to always give reps though, and mark threads as solved because I truly appreciate all the help everyone here gives me.
Maybe take a paper & pencil and write down what you did / want and keep this paper near computer. I know this is annoyed but most of the time it will be very useful
