Hi I have a question that I am not really sure how to do in Excel,
I am using Excel 2007 and I have one tab that has 3 columns: "date", "persons name" and "amount of actions performed that day". Is there a way to have another tab that gives me each unique person and tallies up all there "actions performed that day" amounts from a date range I specify using that "date" column? Is it possible to do as formulas instead of a macro(I dont really know how to use or make macros)? Thanks for your help.

Yes, it is. Look at the SUMIF function:
=SUMIF(lookup_range,lookup_value,sum_range)
