Hyperlink formula help

Hello,

I am having a problem with a hyperlink formula that I can't seem to get to work.

The hyperlink is.... =HYPERLINK("W:\Mapping\Map Scans\T36N, R5W\Map #"&A95&".pdf")

Here is what it says in excel in the cell..... W:\Mapping\Map Scans\T36N, R5W\Map #143.pdf

Every time I try the hyperlink I get a error that says. "Cannot open specified file."

Any ideas on what is wrong?

Thanks for the response, but I get the same error.

unfortunately i'm afraid i have wasted your time. I don't think it is a hyperlink function problem.

I can link to any other files anywhere on our system except ones saved from a specific computer so im guessing there is a permission issue instead.
