    GETPIVOTDATA Issues

I have been having issues with the getpivotdata function

    Formula:
    =iferror(getpivotdata("Netquantity",'Oil Pivot'!$A$4,"Product","oil","County",$b4,"Interest Type", "Simple", "Sale Date",C$2),0)+ iferror(getpivotdata("Adjustments",'Adjustments Pivot'!$A$4,"Product","oil","County",$b4,"Interest Type", "Simple", "Sale Date",C$2),0)

The formula works and gives back the correct value on the majority of the cells. There is one that that returns 136.8 instead of 456.3. In the "netquantity" pivot table it shows the correct value of 456.3. The second getpivotdata returns a 0, which is correct because there is no value for it in the second pivot table, which is not the issue. I have added rows on the pivot table, but it should not change how the data is pulled. I am stumped on this one, if anyone has suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Sounds like one of the [Field, Item] pairs doesn't match as expected, try searching the pivottable for the 136.8 and compare the row / column headings and criteria to those specified and those that the formula should match up with.

I searched for it, but the 136.8 did not come up, the 456.3 did.

    Re: GETPIVOTDATA Issues

There is no reason for the formula to return a result that does not match the data, if the result is incorrect then it is an error in the criteria somewhere.

If you want us to help you resolve this then you will need to provide a copy of the file, with any confidential information removed, but enough detail remaining to ensure that the problem remains. Without that, we can do nothing more than guess blindly at the cause.
