Enter date from one sheet to have info from other sheet with same date

I have 2 sheets with multiple tables, Sheet 1 got A1 for Jan. 1, then A7 for Jan. 2, A13 for Jan 3; On Sheet 2 I have same single table. What I wanted to have is, if I input the date Jan. 1 on Sheet2 then it will give me the table for Jan. 1 from Sheet1, if I change it to Jan. 2 then table for Jan. 2 will appear. Please see image attached.

    Sheet 1 (Data entry section)

Sheet 2 (Only the date will be changed to have these figures)
If I key in 2-Jan on A1 it will give me the A1 table on Sheet 1.

If I key in 3-Jan on A1 it will give me the A7 table on Sheet1.

Column C auto calculate using this formula:
    =IF('Sheet1’!A:A=Sheet2!A3,SUMIF('Sheet1’!A:A=Sheet2!A3,'HKD Entry Sheet1'!B:B),"")
I used this command but I can get only the info from one cell which is A1
    =IF('Sheet1'!$A$1=Sheet2!$A$1,'Sheet1'!B3,"")
Please help me with a better formula for this, thanks in advance.

Try this in A3 of Sheet 2 and then drag it to the other applicable cells.
I'm positive there's a better way to do it.

    =IF($A$1=Sheet1!$A$7,Sheet1!A9,IF($A$1=Sheet1!$A$13,Sheet1!A15,IF($A$1=Sheet1!$A$1,Sheet1!A3)))

What were you wanting Column C to calculate?

This really isn't the right way to do this. You are going to find yourself in a world of pain if you collate your data in this way. It would be far better if your source table were just one table with four columns:

    Date
    Item
    Sales
    (Running Total)

I've put running total in brackets as it isn't even necessary.

You could then very easily set up your summary data on another sheet in the format you want.

Rule 08: Cross-posting Without Telling Us

Your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Do not cross-post your question on multiple forums without telling us about your threads on other forums.

Post a link to any other forums where you have asked the same question. If you have fewer than 10 posts here, you will not be able to post a link, but you must still tell us where else you have asked the question.

Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

Expect cross-posted questions without a link to be closed and a message will be posted by the moderator explaining why. We are here to help so help us to help you!

Read this to understand why we ask you to do this, and then please edit your first post to include links to any and all cross-posts in any other forums (not just this site).

If you have less than 10 posts, do not try to copy and paste the link. Instead, type the link out in your thread.

No further help to be offered, please, until the OP has complied with this request.

But the issue was not yet resolved from your answer and I am asking for a solution from
a particular excel worksheet but what you gave me was “Why do that, better do this”
    instead.
Ofcourse I will find answer from other forum/website if I am having trouble solving it.
I am not going to waste people’s time because if I found the answer I would definitely tell the person that I was able to solved it and will tell him how I did it.
If this is going to be an issue to you Ma’am then forget about my question and I’ll find a way to resolve it.

It is a forum rule. If you comply with the forum rule (which, by the way, is the same on pretty much all Excel forums), then we shall help you. If not, then there will be no further help. It's as simple as that.

You still have not provided information telling us where else you have posted this query.
