    Leave accrual in an FY

I am trying to calculate the projected days of leave/vacation in a standard US fiscal year(october to october).

    given:

current days/days scheduled for use/ accrual rate 2.5 per month/

    EX:
    (current month July)
CD SD projected end of FY
    35 2 38

its super simple but i know but I'm stuck

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for.

Are you looking to have a formula or excel sheet that keeps track of your vacation days based on how many you've already used, scheduled, and your accrual rate?

It's better if you attach an example excel file with what you're wanting to accomplish.

Just make it look like what you are wanting the results to be. It doesn't need to be functional.

What are you expecting MONTH to return?

What we need to know is your expected result in that cell.

    may be
    =A3-B3+2.5*(MONTH(G2)-1)
    or
    =A3-B3+2.5*MONTH(G2)

    Is this what you want?

    =SUM((A3-B3)+(2.5*(MONTH("01/10/2018")-MONTH(G2))))
