How to find all available options with strict parameters

Hi,
I'm looking for a way to list all crew options for my sailing team, I have tried so many things but cannot find anything that includes all the required parameters.
Details below, I would love whatever help I can get regarding this.

We require 8 people to sail but have 10 available crew members.
Our weight limit is 650kg, we can be under but cannot go over this limit.
We also require someone in all positions, not all people are suitable for all positions.
Positions codes are:
H - MT - T1 - T2 - P - MA - MB - B
Below is the crew list with weights and positions:

name -- weight (kg) -- positions
Sail1 -- 81 - - T1,T2
Sail2 - - 82.5 - - T1,T2,MA
Sail3 - - 61 - - B,MB,MA
Sail4 - - 90 - - H
Sail5 - - 110.5 - - T1,T2,P
Sail6 - - 82 -- MT,MA,MB,P
Sail7 - - 60 -- T1,T2
Sail8 - - 78 -- MB,B,MA
Sail9 - - 78 - - P
Sail10 -- 78 -- MT,MA

Thank you in advance

Hi, welcome to the forum

What would your expected answer look like, and how would you do this manually?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Regards

Hi Ford,
Thank you for your response.
Manually I would put together all crew options and then calculate the weights, eliminating the crew options that are overweight.
I would expect that the answer would be in table form with crew options as numbers, so eg.
crew 1 crew 2
Sail1 1
Sail2 1 1
Sail3 1 1
Sail4 1 1
Sail5
Sail6 1 1
Sail7 1
Sail8 1 1
Sail9 1 1
Sail10 1 1
total 630.5 609.5

Thank you

Doing that will only return the valid combinations of crew members based on weight, but would be ignoring their positions.
