Have hit a brick wall, not very advanced user of Excel (Only experience is in formula, not visual basic) but can normally solve problems via google.
I would like to create a spreadsheet which takes a list of items with individual weights and allocates them to production batches. Each batch must not exceed 'X' kilograms, so once the first batch is full, the next on the list is added to batch 2 etc. until the list is complete. Ideally maximising batch fill to ensure as many batches are as close to the maximum allowed weight.
My thinking is it would look like below, is it possible?
