    Wage percentage

Im Struggling to understand why the office use this

    =(H57/(H59/1.2)*100)

what is the 1.2 for? the formula is to calculate a wage percentage. why can't its just be =H57/H59*100?

any help would be mutely appreciated

    thanks

    Thank you... dam it.... 🤔
Would that be applicable working out the wage percentage. Isn’t it done on gross sales? We are at loggerheads as it ups my percentage considerably!
So their formula is Gross sails divide by total wage divided by vat times 100?
