Is there a reason (backwards compatibility maybe?) that you need AVERAGE(IF(...))? It seems to me that the AVERAGEIFS() function (https://support.office.com/en-us/art...8-f7c5c3001690 ) is easier to use for this. Something like =AVERAGEIFS(average range,average range,">"&SMALL(average range,5))
