Formula to Iterate 5 Columns for Closest Date

Hi All,

I'm trying to build a date filter that will iterate down 5 date columns and locates the one that's nearest to the 'Last Modified Date'. Please find a sample worksheet attached. Column F will search for the nearest date range in the prior 5 columns for the closest date, then pull it into the cell as Sunday.

i was unable to understand the problem clearly as how to place your ans column wise or row wise, and some sentences like what do you mean by "then pull it into the cell as Sunday".
