    Total sum dependant on date

I'm not very good at Excel and not even sure if this is possible!

I've been putting a spreadsheet together for all my bills. I wanted to see how much I need in my bank account for all the bills from today's date. Something like this...

    Is this possible?! Thanks!

    You could try this

    Data Range
    A
    B
    C
    D
    1
    Bill
    Date
    2
    10
    02
    3
    5
    05
    4
    30
    05
    06
    40
    5
    20
    10
    6
    20
    15

B2:B6 is an actually date with it showing day only. Same with C4
    HTH
    Regards, Jeff

    Thanks Jeff

Is there any way I can automate the figure in D4?

So as C4 is more than B5 & B6, then add A5 & A6. Does that make any sense?!

Sorry about that, I left off the formula

    D4 =SUMIF(B:B,">="&C4,A:A)
