I am using conditional formatting in some of my cells, i know how to use it and don't have a problem doing so. The problem is whenever i assign conditional formatting and they try to set the custom format, it will not let me change the color anymore. I was able to in these same cells before, now it will only let me use the preset formats. My cells are locked or protected from editing, I have no idea why it is doing this. Please help!!!!
Have you tried unlocking/unprotecting the sheet? You can always apply the protection again after you are done.

Yes, I'm sorry it should say that they aren't locked or protected, it was the first thing I tried... and the funny thing is i can choose some colors but not others... so I can make it gray or black or blue but not green or red...
OK wait. Are you saying you change change the CF to show grey/black, of the CELL formatting to G/B?
Perhaps upload a small (clean) sample workbook (not a pic) of what you are working with, and what your expected outcome would look like.
