Count values in 2 different columns when there is input

Hello all,

I got this excell with this formula;

=SUMPRODUCT(--(TEXT('C:\Users\Rob.Holleman\Desktop\[Registratie review.xlsx]Data Gel'!D$2:D$10000;"mmmm")=A4)*('C:\Users\Rob.Holleman\Desktop\[Registratie review.xlsx]Data Gel'!D$2:D$10000>0))

It counts the dates that are in A4 and display the count of it.

I would like to count now the number of dates that contain an "x" in column G and column H in another excell document.
Anyone knows how i do this?

Re: =countifs or =sumproduct problem

Hello,

Sorry for my late reply.

It doesn't work, it displays 0 while in G2 and H2 the input is "x".
Column G4 in NEW.xlsm should display "1" when G2 and H2 is "x" in file1.xlsx

Added the files to display it;

Please take a moment to read the forum rules and then amend your thread title to something descriptive of your problem - not what you think the answer might be. (think google search terms?). Once you have done this please send me a PM and I will remove this request. (Also, include a link to your thread - copy from the address bar)

Many members search our previous posts, and thread titles play a big part of the search. I doubt anybody would do a search based on your title?

To change a Title on your post, click EDIT POST then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

(note: this change is not optional )
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
