hello!
there is a range where i enter results for a report... but in parallel to this i want to be able to copy all those numbers paste them somewhere else in the spreadsheet and sort them without disturbing the initial data entry and without having to copy paste then sort...
is there a function to do this in excel?

Not a function, but a formula with several functions in it...
Let's suppose your Report range is vertical, A2:A11.
In E6 (or anywhere you want to have the range sorted):
Formula:

Copy down. Each cell will reflect the sorted item corresponding.
