HELP! Lookup function to reconcile receipts against bank transactions

Hi there, I am looking to reconcile bank transactions against receipts list.

I have two worksheets, one with a complete list of bank transactions and another with a list of receipts.

I am trying to match the two dependant on the amount and also the date of purchase.

Ideally the date of purchase would be matched by Month and Year as sometime the days are a few days behind.

For the bank transactions my data is table2. Amount in column A and date in Column B.

For the receipts my data is in table3. Amount in column A and date in column B.

Ay help greatly appreciated

Hi there sorry for the delay in reply!

Try to explain this is a little tricky as it gets complicated but here goes ...

Within the spreadsheet there are two sheets, one for Bank Transactions and another for receipts.

I would like to match the receipts to the bank transactions depending on the amount and also the date of transaction. I am aware that due to the delays of bank statements I may need to add something to look for dates within 5/10 days either side of the receipt date.

Using these two criteria I would like to be able to return the matching receipt/transaction along with which bank account its from (Column of the Bank transactions sheet.)

I apologise for asking but have been trying for a few days now and coming up stuck.

its only 2 records no much columns what you expect to match recipes with Bank transaction. i did some column 3 and column 4 with yellow highlighted cell's

Thanks for this, is there a way to match with dates within 5 days of bank receipt ?
