SUMIF or SUMIFS...

Dear all, thank you for previous help in COUNTIFS, now I found this function and that give me hope exist something to SUM with same criteria.

problem:
IF in the same row of the column "A" there is "COMPLETE" and in the column "B" there is "HEAT PUMP" then SUM the value in column "C"

my problem using officehelp or excel description formula is the "meaning" of the Syntax

Syntax
SUMIFS(sum_range, criteria_range1, criteria1, [criteria_range2, criteria2], ...)

I didn't be able to match the difference between criteri_range1, criteria1 before.... now I know also how to read it! So thank you twice!
