update the result of formula automatically excel 2007

Firstly I would like to say that I am very novice user of excel. I have to prepare a excel sheet work for my office.
Suppose, I have two columns of data to fill in Column A and B, the number of rows are dynamic. Now in column C, I have to get the multiplication of these two columns data automatically.
I mean when the user inputs data in Col A and then data in Col B and hits enter to again enter new row data, multiplication result should be seen in Col C automatically.
Is it possible to do in excel?

One straightforward way, highlight the data you currently have in columns A to C, from top row (including header if there is one) right down to the last row.
Then select "Insert / Table / OK".

This will turn your data into a table and means as you add new rows to the bottom it will copy down the formatting and formulas so you will always get the multiplication in column C

@BadlySpelledBuoy, thank you for the reply. But the excel sheet will be filled by other user, they will just fill the column A and B. I can't say the users to do extra works just like selecting the cell C highlighting the data etc. etc... I have to make this work automatically. Is there any way for that?

And exactly how will Excel know that's what you want it to do??

You need to set up a template in the first place then send it to your users to fill out and return.
OR, let them fill out just columns A & B and YOU fill out C when they return them.

Excel is not a mind reader. It can only do what you tell it you need it to do.

I read the OP's reply and couldn't really understand what he meant with his comment:-
